Actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise is awarded AUSA’s top honor for public service

I will watch every movie that guy is ever in, just because of the man that he is. too bad the rest of hollywood isnt like him.

While in Afghanistan Gary Sinise's charity donated school supplies for Afghan students and we kept them in a conex on the FOB. The Afghan boys school is provided with school supplies by the government. While the girls school gets nothing because they do not recognize the school. We made sure those school supplies went to the girls school and it was one of the few times there I felt like we made a difference. I always felt like I owed Gary a beer for what he did for us and those little girls.
