the idiots behind the Hollywood Walk of Fame had denied him a star on Hollywood for decades. Watch the Netflix documentary 'Starring Adam West' and it did show his daughter calling in vain to the Hollywood Walk of Fame goons only to be denied. He did serve in the Army National Guard. My Army Reserve soldiers were in shock this morning and one said David HasselHoff has his star so why not Adam West?

He was the original, and in my opinion, the best Batman of them all. I loved the corny comic book like show (and movies). It is a classic and if I am flipping through and see it on I have to watch.
I saw the documentary (reference on this post) and it is a great view of his life's work and the struggles of being type cast and how he finally got comfortable with it and made the best of it. Seth McFarlane (Family Guy) and him became good friends and Seth helped him reinvent himself a little bit a the Mayor.
