I just thought all of you might find this of imterest, was ww2 civil air patrol hero who with one other sank German sub, eventually awarded Air Medal, I've wanted to see this made into a !movie forever, lol....

I read a bout this awhile ago and it is quite a story, I believe you are right Capt....It would make a good movie. Unfortunately i don't believe today's movie going public would appreciate the film, as we would all be awaiting it's release with baited breath!

I was actually wondering how such a film could be made to attract an audience , I think by painting a detailed characterization of a little known world using A list talent in the same way Dickens wrote a novel it might actually be possible , Dickens was really good that way as was sir Arthus Conan Doyle in the Sherlock Holmes stories at just such characterizations so as to engross a reader, I think the trick with a good screenplay, even for avtrue story is to depict it in the same or a siliar fashion honest enjoy.
