Afghan President Is In Favor Of Trump's Strategy To End The War

I'm not sure that we have learned anything from over a decade and a half in Afghanistan or from the Soviet experience there... the question IMO is how many lives, and how much treasure will we sacrifice before we leave. I don't believe the fact that we are willing to spend a lot more, is good news.

I hope I'm wrong and we do manage to establish real peace with an Afghan government that is desired by the Afghan people.
