I quit watching this show when it got so corny I could have fed it to a duck. They made a mint with the show and selling Duck calls, but it's time to fly South for the winter.
The Robertson family made a “big quacking announcement” on Nov. 16, when they revealed that the reality television show is calling it quits. After 11 seasons of mucking around in Louisiana’s swamps and shouting catchphrases — by turns charming and infuriating the American TV-viewing public — the heavily bearded duck-hunting Robertson family is heading south, for good.

MSG (Join to see), I think the Alaska blue Crab show sunk, and the gator shows are are hard to catch anymore. LOL

SGT (Join to see) - I know guys who thought it was great,didn't miss any of it.I concur with you it was ridiculous.As you already know,i was a guide and a commercial fisherman for years and most of the crap they did would have went no where.On a level with the Beverly Hillbillies depicting ignorant hillbillies.Only problem was it wasn't supposed to be a comedy.

SSgt Terry P. - I'm still not sure what it was supposed to be about. They did so many dumb things in the woods and at that office they stayed in almost the entire show. I had forgotten about that show. I thought it tanked a few years ago.

They were well off before the show. They are worth millions and their main product is not based on the show. I personally think they got tired of playing rubes and being criticized for their lifestyle. I think they just as soon go back to being who they were before the show.

They were beginning to get too involved in politics and religion too. I'm sure everyone is worn out. I wouldn't recognize any of these pics without the beards.
