I submitted Valkyrie (or Valkyrie II if they consider the XB-70 project official enough). Multiple reasons from the North American XB-70 to the Norse namesake (inspiring warriors while bringing death to others on the battlefield) to the modified Operation Valkyrie in WWII that tried to take Hitler down and end Germany's part of the war.
Not holding my breath, but always fun to partake. ;)

My concern is scope creep. It's designed to do one thing, ends up AF leaders want it to do more. Let's make it so that it can land on I95 in rush hour and stop in 100ft. Can it hover? Will the helmet used by the pilot cost more than the average home in the DC area? So it goes from a SWAG of 2B up to 10B and that's just RnD. Next you have to test it, and by the time it's all done, none of us would be alive to see it fly in production, but would've paid billions in cost overruns, and add ons like woodgrain dash, leather cockpit seating with heat and massage. In plane entertainment with WiFi, and who knows what else. I wonder would it be like the Osprey was, and the F35 is now; a living, breathing money pit with enough backing from legislators and flag officers to keep it moving.
