I take the Wingman concept rather seriously. Anyone who asks to be my friend or says they are my wingman should also understand what it means.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen
Well, I've been retired a while so don't know if they still do this, but every base I was assigned had annual talent events that included active duty and spouses. Got to remember that was at SAC bases that tended to have great policies on entertainment and families.

That is my dream, sir Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen To wake up in my barracks or my off-duty military housing, do my job faithfully and fully to the best of my ability, shop at the commissary, cook a great meal or go to one of the great restaurants on base, spend an hour or two working on my various degrees that I will amass while serving my country, and also jam out with my branch's musicians to bring that morale to 100! Bruno Mars may not be in the armed services but luckily I am.
