Air Force tech sergeant first enlisted female to pilot aircraft

Thanks Capt Seid Waddell for letting us know that the graduating class od unmanned aerial vehicles includes women. The downside is that like all drone pilots they are at risk so their names tend to released only on a need to know basis.

I'm happy that the Air Force is finally taking advantage of the other half of the gender pool. I'm sad that it is news. This should not be a "man bites dog" story. It should be, should have been, as normal as "dog bites man" for a long time.
