Nope, not at all. The time is right but I honestly believe that the Jet Jocks are afraid that someone else might be capable of doing their job so they continue to stand firm against a logical solution. Imagine if a prior enlisted guy became a WO and flew the same platform as you do! Oh, the humanity! I joke, but I'm sure that is the crux of the issue.

I never understood why, but I was not air force. The talent retention from the enlisted ranks would be huge.

SSgt W. Aaron Gregory - I agree. After teaching at the EOD school I saw how the Marine and Navy programs worked and figured it would be a no brainer. Perfect solutions for many AF skill sets. Leave it to my superior branch to look down it's nose at the best answer going.
