Airman Praised After Parking in Wing Commander's Space at E-Club

The Wing Commander parked illegally blocking the travel lane. Officer special place to park at the enlisted mans club where parking is more than likely limited. Then it turned out to be no fault to airman.

They put up the sign after the Airman's car was in place. Nice Commander, though. He seems pretty classy!!

LOL Pretty funny all the way around, PO1 Tony Holland. I would've put the sign in front of someone's car anyway as a joke. Speaking of jokes on Commanders!
An un-named Airman "borrowed" the silver oak leaf plate from the Vice Wing Commander's (XO) car one night coming back from a club downtown at Bitburg AB, GE back in the day. The Wing Commander was TDY so the Vice Wing was the Man. He drove around base as usual but got pissed when nobody saluted the white top car. He did stop to correct an Airman for blowing him off only to find out the plate was gone from the front of his car.
We found out the last part one Friday afternoon when the Wing Commander stopped by the EOD Flight unannounced (He did it periodically). We didn't have a "bar" and never broke down early to grill bratts and schwenkbraten while we drank bier. However, he knew we did and liked to hang with the "crazy EOD guys". He told us the story as we drank Grolsch "flippies" and Heiny Red Stars (while I turned his Eagle on his flight cap upside down). I still have the plate BTW! Hahaha
