I was on the deck of one of the Crystal City buildings in Arlington VA, lines of sight from the smouldering Pentagon.

My last duty station was the former NavComTelCom near Embassy Row. I used to love watching flights land / take off out of National. It would have been surreal to see what you saw!

The crazy part was the rest of the day... wondering if something else would happen. We sat on the deck, drinking pitchers of beer and watching the military fighters soaring overhead. What a crazy day!
