I considered buying one of these before a trip to Scotland. Then I read up to see where I could legally use one. Answer: very few places I'd be interested in. For example, rule out just about every single historical sight regardless of whether it was crowded or deserted, if it was something run by organization like Historic Scotland, forget it - it's not practical for the individual.
Then I thought, hey, maybe here in the US - so, read up on National Parks and drones - yeah, no.
They can take some beautiful video, so it disappoints me greatly. Some people seem to say, "screw it," and do it anyway, but I want to do it legally and I'm not looking to spy anybody, I just want cool videos of castles and mountains, and stuff like that.
