Very few of the cities and counties listed need the employment help. They are already big, wealthy locations. How about Mississippi, Louisiana, New Mexico, rural Texas, and locations in the rust belt. Looking for a location that could really benefit from 50,000 new jobs. Canada, why?

Geography and population growth are definitely two factors but Amazon has such a manning demand there is no ideal location. The attrition rate at Amazon is greater than any military unit. They require massive amounts of new skilled and unskilled workers that will overwhelm any location.
