This is a great article. VBA is such a great language to learn for anyone that uses Microsoft Products. The potential of Excel and Access is expanded significantly when people put in the effort to start learning VBA.

Good story, I can relate. Started infantry, learned computers as a hobby in my spare time, got out and went to school for it. Slightly different course after that, I went back in as signal and after spending a few years counting batteries for NVGs and just about anything else not related to computersI got a chance to start programming Excel to support ANA payroll activities in Afghanistan. Fun stuff! Eventually moved to networks though, which is what I still do today.
