Cpl Vic Burk One of the Coolest Classes I Got to Take in High School was Cultural Anthropology, I did My Final on the Book "The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test" One of 5 Recommended by the Instructor. I'm Sure None of the 5 would be "Approved" by Modern "Conservatives" "Republicans".

Since virtually everything in society can be made political today, I'd like to know what political statement got that student and parent so upset

I agree with the teacher. I mean, let's be honest....what the schools are trying to ban, those kids still have access to worse materials about those "banned" topics when they go to the movies, watch a television show.....surf the internet. Personally, let them read the damn books. All she did was use a loophole in providing a route for those kids to get the books from an outside source. All she did was show them another door. The kids still have to walk thru said door.
