My appreciation to those who actually took the time to read the link above (An open letter to the NFL players).

I became a NFL fan in 1958 as a boy watching the NFL championship game between the Baltimore Colts with QB Johnny Unitas going against the New York Giants. I stopped watching NFL games the year some wealthy players decided they were going to turn the NFL football field from a sporting event into their own personal protest stage. If I want to tune in a channel on my TV to watch and listen to people push their personal political agenda I'll turn on CNN or MSNBC. I do not tune in a NFL
game to watch a political protest event. The NFL is a billion dollar business and they can allow their
employees to disrespect the U.S. Flag and the Nation where they all live if that is the face they want
to put on their business. The NFL customers that spend their money on tickets and NFL merchandise
can turn off the games on TV and stop purchasing game tickets and merchandise to show their disagreement with the NFL on this issue. I don't miss the NFL and their wealthy athletes.
