I'd just sent this as an answer to another thread, however I just thought you might all find it of interest as well, read about his serious scientific research by volunteer conscientious objectors, it was all very valid real science, plus, K rations from ww2 were named for him as I'd hoped might be apparent, lol, I've never tried MREs, however those of you who might have, might, I'd thought, find the ancestry ofmtheir ww2 counterpart of more than passing interest, lol...
