Attention Chicagoland area veterans. Please take a look at this program. It is our second year of the program and we have great business mentors, all veterans, that are a part of the program as well. PLEASE SHARE: The Des Plaines Chamber is in search of Military Veterans to apply for the 2018 DP Veterans Back to Work Boot Camp that begins this Fall. Deadline to apply is July 6th. Upon completion of program the 20 Veterans selected will each get over $8,000 in career enhancing gifts including a 2018 Laptop computer with Microsoft Office, $500 Gift Card to Jewel-Osco, $400 Gift card to Woodfield Mall and more).

I am highly encouraged by the work of local governments and private companies that dedicate efforts to the cause of putting veterans in good jobs. Des Plaines is to be applauded.
