As much as I want to see ISIS defeated . . . I really hate seeing this happen. I don't know if it's because I'm out, and feel an obligation to be there, or if it's due to fear of a prolonged war.

One thought not exactly looked at.... is that really the force structure and capability needed to support the Iraqi Army? If your not doing the fighting directly - then the real area of assistance is in enabling force areas and support functions. That said - you could need combat forces there for another reason - and that is to protect our forces after Mosul falls.... from those guys who are currently fighting to the west of the force wee are advising..... IS is a tough enemy and well lead, but they will be eventually defeated in Mosul, it is what happens after that that really is the issue.

Here is an example of what I am talking about on ebnablers..... where is the bulked up IO/PSYOP/CYBER effort to support the force and counter the propaganda???
