Amen SGT (Join to see). Thank God the remains from World War II of 1st Lt Ben B. Barnes, 361st Fighter Squadron, 356th Fighter Group, US Army Air Forces, US Army, was lost on 5 December 1944 in Germany was accounted for on 17 September 2016.
From Korea:
2. PFC Everett E. Johnson, F Company, 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, US Army, was lost on 3 September 1950 in South Korea was accounted for on 19 September 2016.
3 CPL William H. Smith, E Company, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, US Army, was lost on 28 November 1950 in North Korea was accounted for on 12 September 2016.
4 CPL Roy C. Fink, B Company, 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division, US Army, was lost on 2 December 1950 in North Korea was accounted for on 23 September 2016.
5 PFC William V. Giovanniello, Company F, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, US Army, was lost on 25 April 1951 in South Korea was accounted for on 19 September 2016.
I hope that the families of these five soldiers will be comforted as=nd that they will finally have closure over the MIA status of their fallen relatives.
