One of the problems that I see is that the Federal Government has NOT done a study since they outlawed "Hemp" for the garment industries profits. A "Non-Biased" test needs to be done with double blind testing so that real results can be ascertained. The Federal Government will NOT allow such testing (they would have to allow someone to use, therefore violating their strict no use law).

I personally have my opinions but they are opinions and therefore not backed up with non-biased data. Until proper test are done, or Congress gets a brain, it will remain illegal and therefore something that I will not use.

My $0.02 for what it is worth.

Typical Republican move- If it is an issue they don't want to deal with at the Federal Level, their tune is leave it up to the states to decide. But with this, they want to throw "State's Rights" out the window and impose Federal power despite the state governments decision (and will of the voters). Guess they have to do this to appease the "Big Pharm" donors, who are the biggest political opponents of legalized medical and recreational cannabis.

Don't forget alcohol along with "Big Pharm." They have as much of a stake in keeping marijuana illegal as pharmaceutical companies do. If it is legalized alcohol sales will probably decline some.

SSgt (Join to see) - Good Point, as I have read that alcohol sales in WA and CO plummeted after they went full legal.
