Sometimes you just have to do those sort of things to ensure that freedom and democracy prevail and any other country that is irrevocably dedicated to ensuring that freedom and democracy prevail is ethically bound to support you doing those things.

This is a slap in the face to Democracy. Some cultures have a very hard time embracing true democracy and the allowance for diversity of all kinds. This will be hard for S. Korea to overcome but hopefully with the guidance of some good Americans they will be able to move forward and learn from this much as America has learned from our mistakes.

SPC Andrew Griffin - Spec; If it weren't for the fact that the (North)Vietnamese actually had a competent government that was concerned with the welfare of all the people of the entire country while (North)Korea does not, the situations in Vietnam and Korea would be incredibly similar - an artificial division of a country where the general populace wants to see the country reunited but where the division is maintained for the political benefit of people (and interests) foreign to the country.
