Senior Chief, I agree with your sentiment, but I think it was a jury that caused the issue when they voted to award the settlement amount. It was a three judge panel that overturned that decision on appeal . And part of the case was not overturned, but returned to the lower court for retrial.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, and either way it's a just verdict in this case. I never saw any dignity in anyone trying to capitalize in such a manner, it clearly appears to be motivated by greed on the part of Venture.
