So I'm applying for VA healthcare today (finally, after leaving AD Army in '08). A marine Veteran friend of mine who is benefiting from the Mission Act (through easier access to a chiropractor for his back issues) encouraged me yesterday to apply for VA health care benefits despite having no complaints about the private coverage I receive from my civilian company. I'm going through the process now and am curious to see what options for care this translates into. I don't think I need it today, but it feels like a good move as I hear aging brings more medical concerns and last I checked, I'm not getting any younger.

I personally don't go to the V A, but a few people that I know that have civilian insurance and go to the V A, have no complaints.

When I used the CVS Urgent Care covered under Mission, they had the letter the pharmacy used so my prescription was no coat to me.
