I always enjoy the BS every sanctuary city says about trust between the immigrant community and the local police, and that immigrants won't call if they feel they will be checked themselves. So when someone of questionable status gets pulled over at at 1 o'clock in the morning on a country road and no one else is around, the local PD won't notify ICE because of what? The distrust of the possible deported felon they have pulled over? I am all for not questioning some female that got beat up by her boyfriend, but when they find the boyfriend and he can not speak English at all? They should be checking that guy out. Keeping our communities safe is a team effort: local, state, federal should be working together, sharing information, etc. Funny thing is, we stay plenty busy with California, despite their sanctuary status.
