It's really not a good idea. There's a lot of issues that go along with that, and it solves nothing.

MAJ Bryan Zeski - probably, but it does demonstrate our commitment to Israel, and hopefully gets the idea across that Israel is there to stay which just may persuade future Jihad's that the annihilation is Israel isn't really a possibility and a cohabitation position is far more realistic.

MAJ (Join to see) - I don't value demonstrations of commitment over what makes sense on the global scale. Israel really has less claim on the region than the Arabs - historically. I'm all for co-habitation there, but it has be on mutually agreeable terms. Right now, Israel has fenced off sections for the Palestinians... but then still kicks them out and develops on the land they gave them.

Israel is the modern day "explorers" who kick the natives out of the their land and then cry when they're pushed back against.

MAJ Bryan Zeski - That is kind of what happens when the natives are trying to annihilate you from the day you stepped on their shore. As to the historically opinion sure you get to have your own.
