Are Bureaucrats Shutting Down Schools for Their Benefit, or for Yours?

Uh-huh. Most of the diseases I’ve caught (predominantly colds and flu) were brought home by my daughters from school.

We have had several confirmed cases in our county in Florida and were going on Spring break. Our Governor decided to close schools for at least two weeks. Schools are notorious for the spread of cold and flu and other childhood diseases. The flu does not have a season. It is around year-long. What we call the flu season actually correlates to the American school year. I think the measures that are being taken are necessary to prevent an outbreak like that in Italy. They did not take distancing precautions until it was too late. It also is not called the Wutan virus. It has been named the COVID 19 VIRUS by both the World Health Organization and the CDC. One should not name a disease after a region or group of people. What was known as the Spanish flu actually started in the United States.

I will go with, they are doing it for their benefit, making people think that that they are concerned about the people, it's the votes that they are worried about.
