Did the author fully cover Valeriano Weyler both in Cuba and the Philippines?

CPT Jack Durish - I was wondering about that. It is interesting that in the 1905 Philippine history book that I sometimes reference has a section regarding his actions in the Philippines. I will have to check my Subic Bay history book on this subject also.

Camp of internment of enemy combatants yes. In Vietnam we had relocation villages. We moved the people to protect them not to Jail them. we moved then so they would not be shot by Charlie or us.

POW, refugee, an concentration camps are different things. Yes, we tried moving people to "secure villages" but it didn't work very well. This author takes a deep dive into that topic
