One of the problems with the Internet is that we lack a single focal point to bring any one conversation together. Over there we have people pointing fingers at the NRA. Here we're pointing fingers at the media. I've seen countless others shouting against video games, lack of religion in schools, etc. etc etc. And, of course, there's the guns themselves (even though murder by other means far outnumbers guns). It's not a conversation. It's a shouting match. There is a problem, a growing problem. It may be one specific cause or it may be the aggregate of many factors. I'd love to address it rationally but I can't find that conversation...
