I agree that it is a manufactured problem and that those who rant about it are unwilling to examine the true root causes.

Since 1972, the CAFE standards have killed more people than firearms. Blunt objects (bats, etc.), knives, texting while driving, drinking while driving, and abortion are killing more people than firearms.

It stands to reason, since they aren't trying to regulate the other forms of murder/manslaughter, the goal is disarmament of the citizen and what follows is tyranny.

Go after the cause not the tool. Mother's Against Drunk Drivers did not go after the cars, they when for the drunk drivers, not all drivers.

No, I don't think so. First person video games are the major culprit, IMHO.

If that were true why aren't there more? The truth has nothing to do with video games other than possibly making our youth socially awkward and unable to deal with adversity. It's also the "everyone get a trophy" and "I'm special" mentality.
