interesting article, fighting a group like ISIS does bring its own set of problems to the battle. As a stateless entity, what does one target. Thanks for sharing MSgt George Cater

Very interesting article MSGT George Cater! I feel we've been "at war" for several years now- just not the typical war that we are used to seeing. Much like when we were violently introduced to jungle warfare, we are being "thrown into the deep end" to learn to swim with the likes of ISIS etc. IMO, in order to survive and succeed, we need to adapt and change the way we fight this "new" enemy. Protocols of engagement need to go away- we need to once again become the world wide force to be reckoned with. The only way to deal with a bully is to jump bigger and badder than the bully- look them dead in the eye, make then blink first, make him more scared of you than you of him. Right now, they aren't scared of us, they are laughing at our weakness- daring us to do something.

I believe we have been fighting WW III for the past decade or so. The difference between I, II and III is that...in my opinion...with WW III we know who the enemy REALLY is. You can call it "radical Islam" or "radical Islamic terrorism" but the thing is, between the already radicalized and the self-radicalized, one NEVER knows where they might pop up and the damage they might do. We've seen hundreds killed & injured especially in the past couple years with most if not all claiming to be a soldier for "radical Islam", and not all of them have actually been Middle Eastern. I have no idea how to eradicate the problem, I only know there is one. Make sense?
