Sure why not? Start with arming Flint, Saginaw, and Detroit proper, then lets see within a year where the weapons are at, what were they used for, and how many cans come up missing. He needs some refresher training. Hope he gets this.

What could possibly go wrong with drug and alcohol addicts having shotguns on the streets? Most people are homeless for a reason(s). Giving them weapons is not likely to reduce crime. It is more likely they will be stolen or traded for drugs or alcohol and then used in a crime. He needs to be smarter than this if he wants to stand a chance at winning.

I believe he's banking on the right to back him not realizing the right isn't chock full of morons who vote for everyone who uses the word "gun".
