I don't think the Doomsday Clock was at its worst when the Cuban Missile Crisis happened back in October, 1962. That means that we cannot let our guard down nor have a hair trigger finger either. This also means for the Air Force to get their head out of their 5th point of contact and not continually try to kill the A-10 Warthog for the black hole as piece of junk 2018 Edsel of the sky, the F-35 junk Strike Fighter. That aircraft platform is too buggy, too expensive, too overweight and it cannot be the Jack of all trades master of none aircraft. It needs to work hand-in-hand with the F-15, F-18, F-16, and the A-10 Warthog. It cannot be the all things for all people platform because it cannot withstand 23 mm rounds. I don't even think it could withstand 5.56 mm rounds! Shame on the u.s. Air Force we're trying to kill the A-10 Warthog!
