See that is the problem, gun control people keep calling for more rules, when we can't even enforce the ones on the books correctly.

The problem is a moral issue and you can't legislate morals. So they need to make sensible laws and then enforce them equally and unequivocally.

I knew this was going to be a DOD wide problem, who's job is it anyways to report these convictions? Blame it on the SWO that did not read the JAGMAN

I was wondering the same thing. It appears the Holloman Office of Special Investigation (OSI) had the lead in regards to updating NCIS. I would guess the problem lies somewhere between personnel specialist at Hollman (involved in Devin P. Kelley's discharge) communicating with OSI. If this process is at the installation level across the Air Force, one can imagine how difficult it is to track.
