Ignore the advice at your peril (of your career and your marriage)
“There have been a up tic in STDs within the BDE [brigade] since we started deploying to Central and South America in both married and unmarried Soldiers,” Command Sgt. Maj. Christopher J. Williams wrote Sept. 24 in an email to 1st SFAB team leaders. “This is extremely concerning and wanted all advisors to be aware that the health stats are going up and it is in mostly advisors that have been deployed.”

I used to run PSAs about STDs at the AFRTS TV station. Our Catholic Chaplin demanded that I stop using them, because hey were created and donated to the military by the Mormons. That just made me stop running all the other PSAs. My alternate chose the ones he wanted when he was on duty, so I figured that if they upset him so much that hey needed to be run.
They had a young family who were dressed nice, with the tagline of 'VD is for everyone' meaning that no one was immune. He insisted that it would corrupt the soldiers on base.

Memories of Thailand back in the 70"s. Break out the penicillin shots and issue the PCOD. (pu$$y cut off date) As a medic in Thailand I injected a lot of butts with penicillin.
