MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. My late Angelic father: the Hon. James Sloane Higgins served and sacrificed in World War II.

As did mine. He was stricken with filariasis while in the Pacific in '43 and was medically discharged in the summer of '44. The disease plagued him for the rest of his life and he died in '88 at age 67.
