i thought for sure the article was going to mention something about the local police needing assistance...especially near JBLM!

When I read an article like this, I think about the elapsed time from my Dad’s service in WW II to mine starting in 1972, almost 30 years. Then I realize it has been 35 years since I got out. Man, oh Man. Time flies.

Like you, it seems hard to believe it's been 20 years since I became a bystander. About 45% of me still wishes to be in - and 55% is glad I'm out. CPT Don Kemp

I’m with you, Chief. I never missed it a day until my son started in the ROTC Cadet Corp at University of North Georgia 20 years later. It hurt so bad I couldn’t breathe. I’d have signed up on the spot if they would have taken me.
