I was stationed at Fort Benning when GEN Johnson came to review the 2nd Infantry Division, the 11th Air Assault Division and the 197th Infantry Brigade before the two divisions merged into the 1st Cav Division.
Biggest troop formation I ever saw.
He went into the Officers Club about 10:00am and found two colonels drinking. There were some changes in the club hours after that.
