I have been looking at doing this but it is a major pay cut. The difference between a O3 and CW2 is about 1600 to 2000 a month.

Sir if money is a concern by all means stay where you are. With that said, I know several who were officer and dropped their commission to be warrants in CID. I have yet to hear any complain about the transition.
