On the one hand I am saddened by this death and the other I am angry that so many soldiers are dying under non-combat conditions.
I am thankful that the family of SPC Korey Deonte James has been notified about his death at his Killeen, Texas home near Fort Hood SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL since DoD and Army do not release a deceased service member until family has been notified.
Prayers for the family and friends of SPC Korey Deonte James as they grieve his death.

It is sad when a fellow soldier dies SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL, under any circumstances. Unresponsive could mean a lot of things. When I was stationed at Fort Hood after I returned from Vietnam, the soldier in the bed across from me did not wake one Sunday morning. Turns out he suffocated on his own vomit after a night of drinking. Was sad for the whole unit and especially me as I drank with him plenty of times. A fellow New Yorker too. :-( LTC Stephen F.

Wonder if they are putting these together to see if anything is amiss. Perhaps a new drug or a drug that has been tampered with?
