I am so glad USMA won the game, CPT Jack Durish! I was a doubter, and I'm so glad I was wrong! LTC Stephen F. Ken Kraetzer

Doubt? What doubt? Navy was playing a 4th string QB. It would have been really sad had Army lost

True, CPT Jack Durish. However, they also were trounced by North Texas, a team they should have dispatched handily. I thought some degree of skepticism was warranted, especially considering their 14 game skid to Navy. Regardless, I'm glad to say, "Go Army, We Beat Navy!"

Thanks for sharing the Full recap of Army's 21-17 victory CPT Jack Durish. Over the course of this long rivalry there have been winning streaks by Army and Navy although I don't think there was a 14-year winning streak prior to this. As a USMA, West Point graduate I am thankful that Army won in a good game that was not a blowout.
I am not a rabid football fan by any means but since I was bused to four Army Navy while I was cadet [1976-1980] I pay attention to this game. After the game the winning and losing Academies had time off to carouse before the freshman and many upper classmen and women are bused back to their academies. I remember being in Philadelphia in the late 1970s's when navy won 3 out of 4 games I watched first-hand. Sometimes the midshipmen rubbed in their wins when we met in the streets but many times common respect was displayed.
Thanks for mentioning me LTC Stephen C.
