Army Releases Images of Photographer's Final Moments Before Blast

SPC Clayton died while photographing training of Afghanistan Army soldiers when a mortar that they were firing blew up. Along with SPC Clayton, four others died in this horrific accident. SPC Clayton was a brave soldier doing her job. The photographs captured the milliseconds before they all died. Sad indeed for our soldier and the Afghanis. As it was a training accident in a combat zone, she probably did not receive a posthumous Purple Heart. My sympathies to her family and fellow soldiers.
