Army's new leadership strategy: Replace PowerPoint with thoughtful discussion

If this is what I think it is, this new type of leadership,this new type of teaching and training has been going on for a long time at least it has for me and it is effective as it gets the students involved in the training. You can train while you work, incorporate your training into your work schedule so both can be accomplished. We used to do this kind of training whenever possible with our mechanics at all the units I was with.It takes some thought to try and do both at the same time while meeting the commander's intent but once they are on board with it your GTG. You're not going to get rid of PowerPoint instruction all together I don't think but you sure can eliminate a lot of it. I'm glad to hear they are trying to implement this into the school houses, it's about time.
Am I reading this wrong? Has any of the other leaders being doing this kind of training as well?
