Powerful message.
I began getting mental health help as a SFC throughout the rest of my career thru SGM.
I encouraged others to do the same.
It doesn't limit your potential for growth and promotion.
It increases when you work on the monsters. Not visa versa.
Truth right here!
Great post!

Thanks of letting us know SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that CENTCOM CSM Christopher Greca had the courage of his convictions to share his own struggles as he recognized his own need for professional help for "physically (knee/neck surgeries, balance issues, vision), mentally (lack of sleep, memory and concentration), and emotionally (withdrawing, losing interest in what were formerly fun activities)" struggles.
Hopefully this senior leaders openness will help others with similar struggles seek the help they need.
