Yes. Let's do it. But given that this has to go into a "test phase" followed by a "review of AR 670-1" followed by a "review committee" we can expect to see this policy implemented just in time for our current CJCS and SMA to retire. Then the new CJCS and SMA will want to put this to review to improve AR 670-1.

We can make immediate decisions in combat that will have second and third order effects but, we can't just make a new policy to roll up our sleeves without testing it first.

The bureaucracy is strong with my Army.

Not true, how long did it take to approve black socks, ear buds, tattoos, etc? Not long at all.

What happened ?? Jahahah What happened ? The entire U.S. Army is hung up on rolling up sleeves ! I retired in 98.. We rolled up our sleeves when it was hot in Garrison, Motor Pool ,, Because we were not idiots..
