Lt Col Charlie Brown, now to say I am surprised would be a massive under statement. I am glad that they recognize that Marines are the Few and Proud, I have a major league concern, once all of these changes are implemented the role of the Marines will appear to have been absorbed into existing Army, Air, and Navy and are no longer needed. I totally agree with the training being brought to the other services taking the approach of everyone is a rifleman. I also get a chuckle when thinking about the others having to though the same training required to be able to say "I am a Marine". My worry is that those pencil pusher, will be able to say that the Marines are no longer needed. That would be a great mistake, the basic training is just that, if you want Marines you are going to have to also change the way that the individual MOS's are approached. Just calling them Marines in no way, shape, or form makes them able to do our jobs. Anyway no matter what happens I am a true Marine. LoL
