The Natick(MA) Police Dept also had a Veteran of the USMC as their Police Officer of the year a few years back. The town next door to it Sherborn (MA) when I went on that Dept years ago 95% of the Officers were veterans. In Many cases however that is no longer the case, but the veterans do still excel and understand a lot of things people without the Military background do not !
