Is there an instance anyone is aware of where lower standards has produced superior outcomes?
If there is a valid explanation for this, I'd like someone to share it.
On its face, it makes no sense.
Help me understand why this is a good thing.

It seems like the Army just loves to embarrass itself with stories like this. If you cannot toss a grenade further than the blast radius then you are truly a lightweight. So if we are going to say there are people in the military who don't need to chuck grenades, shoot rifles and pistols, maneuver etc. why do they just make all of those GS positions and quit acting like they are serving in the "ARMED FORCES". We can save a lot of money on training uniforms, the VA system etc.
