Early in this article the author complains that "The film ignores the findings of numerous bipartisan congressional investigations to instead construct a fictional narrative of CIA security contractors being betrayed by cowardly bureaucrats and abandoned by the U.S. military." Really? Yes, there were "bipartisan congressional investigations" conducted while the committees were dominated by the Democratic majority in Congress, hearings that exonerated the principle players without uncovering any evidence of wrongdoing. Tell me, how did they miss all the facts that have come to light since then? Those hearings were shams conducted for the sole purpose of whitewashing the tragedy at Benghazi. That is obvious to all now except the minions of the government and agencies that have blood on their hands. Strange, isn't it, how so much more has come to light now that the hearings are being led by an experienced prosecutor.

As to the movie itself, I haven't seen it. All I can say with any certainty is that this review is the product of someone with a "point of view", a prejudice, and I need not read any further than its opening lines.

GREAT POST....but it'll be lost on those who cannot and will not accept any change to their view. Trump even made a special showing of it to stir the pot. And this is Michael Bay.....hardly the best person for.....making a movie that is intellectually stimulating. Let's all lament the last TWO transformers movies..... It'll be great for those looking to confirm what they think they know, those who like to hear lots of explosions, and those who aren't looking for anything real about this film.
