It will take a few years for the dust to settle, but the false, slanted, biased reporting by the national media in favor of obama and the DNC has really caused some long term problems. Nobody trusts the news anymore, and those of us who are not sheep, look for multiple sources and confirmation on any new story. Even a shit bag like Assad can challenge the news and have some credibility in doing so. He is a shit bag and the people reporting on him are liars, so who do you believe? In this case the media got it right, but that is almost a rare event now.
I read George Orweil's cassic 1984 as a kid. When I read it, it was fiction, now it looks a lot more like prophesy, with the exception that he expected the gov to directly control the media as if they were employees. What really happened is that the media created its own form of censorship by not covering parts of the news, and they lied or slanted the real news so severely that they misrepresented the facts in many other cases.
The interesting part is that the media has been exposed. I have no idea how a solution will come about, but the media has made itself nearly irrelevant.

LTC (Join to see) - If Trump manages to make it to the first 100 days, he should count it as a success. Also, because of how loosely and poorly worded many of the EOs are and how they all are subject to interpretation, they will and, IMHO, should be toss out (which can't happen) OR contain more definitive and specific language (For example, would you allow a unit to go to the field with an OPORD that said "We are going to somewhere on Fort fill-in-the-blank for a couple of weeks after we pick up some bullets and rounds from somewhere. We'll have so-and-so's number on speed dial in case we need anything or somebody gets hurt.")

SSG Michael Hartsfield - How do you explain Mr. Obama's Cuban ban was legal or lawful but Mr. Trumps is not?

LTC (Join to see) - The ban on Cubans happened under JFK after the Bay of Pigs flop so I'm not sure of where you are going with this

I love how you choose to point out all the things that are wrong about Leftists or Progressives and choose to turn a blind eye to the utter failings of conservatives.

SSG Michael Hartsfield - The Rinos, ah yes, plenty of wrongdoing there too, however their diatribe is not conducive to destroying from within.
